Has mind control, Fluoride, outrageous conspiracy theories and greater access to information via the Internet highlighted the link between Hollywood and Nazi Germany or, instead, made us completely oblivious or indifferent to it?
After his release from prison, Peiper worked for both Porsche and Volkswagen, before moving to France where he translated books from English to German under the nom de plume Rainer Buschmann. Peiper was murdered in France in July 1976, when he was shot by unknown assailants who then burned his house to the ground using Molotov cocktails.
Peiper remains a controversial figure. On the one hand, he was a highly competent soldier, and he was highly respected among his peers. His men were fiercely loyal to him, and he was considered by many to be a "charismatic leader." After the end of the war he continued to be held in high regard by his surviving comrades, many of whom talked of Der Peiper with admiration and respect.
Zachary David Alexander "Zac" Efron (born October 18, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He began acting professionally in the early 2000s, and became known as a teen idol after his lead roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB series Summerland, and the 2007 film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray. Efron has since starred in the films 17 Again, Me and Orson Welles, Charlie St. Cloud, New Year's Eve, The Lucky One, That Awkward Moment, Neighbors, and The Lorax (voice only).
Efron was on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2008 as number 92, with estimated earnings of $5.8 million from June 2007 to June 2008. As of April 5, 2009, his personal wealth equaled about $10 million. People magazine said in 2007 that Efron and Vanessa Hudgens began dating in 2005 during the filming of High School Musical, although Us magazine said, after the two broke up in December 2010, that they "met in 2005 while making the first High School Musical flick, and became a romantic item about two years later."
Efron sought treatment in early 2013 after struggling with alcoholism and substance abuse. He has been sober since June 2013.
The present is the past, just as the future is the present.
History is always written by the victor, and the histories of the losing parties belong to the shrinking circle of those who were there.

Hermann Höfle was a rather obscure, mid-level SS civil servant who worked in various forced-labor camps within the General Government in Poland.
Höfle personally oversaw the liquidation of the Warsaw Ghetto and played a significant role in the Harvest Festival massacre of 42,000 Jewish laborers in the various camps in the Lublin district in 1943. Höfle was the author of a famous radiogram (Hermann Höfle Telgram) sent in 1943 to Adolf Eichmann in which evidence of the deportation of more than 1.2 million Jewish and Gypsy victims to the extermination camps in the Aktion Reinhard program were formally revealed to the western world.
Somehow along his career path, Höfle attracted the attention of Odilo Globocnik and soon became his chief deputy in the headquarters of the Aktion Reinhard extermination enterprise in Lublin. In this position, Höfle administered the recruitment and deployment of all SS camp personnel in the four extermination facilities at Belzec, Chelmno, Sobibor and Treblinka.
